- Theresa, I'm so sorry, I think one of the bars must have fallen out of my bag on the way over here. I only seem to have one.
Granddaddy looks dismayed. He has been bringing Theresa, his nurse, an Almond Joy candy bar nearly every week, overjoyed to have found a friend who enjoys them as much as he does. As he sits down in the chair, ready to have his blood pressure taken, she proposes a solution.
- That's OK, professor! You know, those come with two little bars in each package. Why don't I take half and you take half?
Granddaddy contemplates this for a minute.
- OK, hold on.
Taking each half into his hands, he lifts them to his mouth, and, one by one, bites out the almonds.
- That's the only part I really like, Theresa, here - he extends his hand filled with soggy chocolate and coconut. You can take the rest!
